Agility
The ability to change direction and control the body at speed
Balance
Being able to keep your body stable while at rest or on the move
2 Types of balance
-Dynamic balance is maintaining a controlled, stable position while moving
-Static balance is keeping the body stable while stationary
Co-ordination
The ability to use two or more body parts together
Different types of co-ordination
-foot-eye co-ordination
-chest-eye or thigh-eye co-ordination
-head-eye co-ordination
-hand-eye co-ordination
Power
The ability to undertake strength performances quickly. It can be written as a formula: power= strength x speed
Reaction time
The time between a stimulus and a movement in response to it
Speed
The rate at which an individual can perform a movement or cover distance
