Definition of cardiovascular fitness
The ability to exercise your whole body for a long period of time. CVF is the efficiency of the CV system: the heart, lungs, blood, blood vessels- in getting 02 around the body. Marathon runner would need good CVF
Definition of muscular strength
The amount of force a muscle can exert against a resistance. Useful for weightlifters or throwers in athletics e.g:shotput.
Flexibilty
The range of motion of your joints. Important in football as a keeper reaching out for a shot in the corner.
Body composition
The percentage of body weight that is muscle, fat or bone. Important as having too much fat increases the risk of diabetes.
Muscular endurance
Ability to work voluntary muscles repeatedly without getting tired
What makes up your cardiovascular system
Heart,blood vessels,blood
