What is cardiovascular fitnes?

A

The ability to exercise your whole body for long periods of time. You need to have a strong heart and clear blood cells vessels to enable your body to transport O2 to your musculsr. This is the fitness that sports people need to play long, hard matches im sports such as football and tennis.

What is muscular strength?

A

The amount of force a muscle can exert against a resistance. MS is obviously important in activities such as weightlifting where competitors have to make one massive effort

What is muscular endurance?

A

The ability to use voluntary muscles without getting tired. Its associated with games such as tennis which are played over a long period of time where muscles need to work hard throughout.

What is flexibilty?

A

The range or motion of your joints. Flexibility is important in sports such as gymnastics, badminton and hockey where you need to be able to strech or reach a shuttlecock or ball. If you are flexible you are less likely to get injured and execute skills quickly.
