Chemical in tobacco smoke affects the alveoli
The alveoli walls become weakened or burst when coughing
Reduces oxygen levels in blood = breathless
How can smoking cause Heart disease
Smoking causes persons arteries to block up
Prevent blood from flowing
Causes heart attacks or strokes due to lack of blood supply
How can smoking cause respiratory diseases
I.e bronchitis
Inflammation of the bronchi or bronchioles
Due to irritation or harmful chemicals
