- Adenocarcinoma - dudodenum and jejunum
- Lymphoma - ileum
- Carcinoid tumours - appendix and terminal ileum
- secondary tumours are much more common

Secrete hormones - in paticular serotonin

Surgical resection
Octreotide (somatostatin analogue - reduces serotonin levels) - relieve symptoms
