Q
A

Pathologic necrobiotic fatty infiltration:

  • more fat droplets than hepatocytes in the parenchyma
  • vacuoles increases in size = push the nucleus to side
  • Nucleus–> necrobiotic degeneration( Karyopyknosis, Karyorrhexis, Karyolysis)

Q
A

Zenker muscle necrosis (skeletal muscle)

-contractile substances of myofibrils necrotizes

*Discoid degeneration= necrotic area disintegrated into smaller or longer parts( marcrophages appear to remove degenerated proteins)

*Arrow= Giant cells/ multi-nucleated myocytes, sarcoplasm re-build the muscle fibers

Q
A

Chronic demarcation:

  • hyperaemic pulp( contain RBC) + haematoma
  • Angiofibroblasts(innermost layer)
  • Scar tissue( collagen fibers)

*chronic demarcation= CT encapsulates the haematoma, the tissue bw are called “granulation tissue”

  • Granulation tissue= lymphocytes + plasma cells
  • Fibroblasts cells differentiate into Fibrocytes

Q

Tuberculum: LUNG tissue

-Granuloma formation w/ coagulation necrosis, central haemolytic area

*Mycobacterium tuberculosis or bovis

  • Macrophages/ Histocytes (epitheloid cells= activated macrophages)
  • Langhans type Giant cells inside granuloma
  • Neutrophils= bacteria
  • Calcification

*Miliary= many tubercles+ proliferative has many inflam cells

Q
A

Phlegmone: Diffuse purulent inflammation

  • see the that the tissue is from sub.cutan(due to fat)
  • connective tissue loosened and pushed away from each other

*Pyogenic bacteria( Stap,Strept, Aracano, Proteus)

  • You see a lot of NEUTROPHILS(purulent exudate)
  • Edema and fluid filled dilated vessels( due to Haemostasis + hyperaemic tissue)

*Mononuclear cells= histocytes, plasma cells, lymphocytes
