A
The axis of the body providing a core for the limbs to hang from. Made up off Skull, Thoracic cage and Vertebrae column.

What is the Appendicular skeleton
A
This connects to the axial skeleton to create movement. Consists of Shoulder girdle, Pelvic girdle, upper and lower limbs.
