A
Diffusion occurs between air in the alveoli and blood in the capillaries.

A
Lungs- Oxygen diffuses from a high to low concentration.
Blood- CO2 diffuses from high to low concentration

A
When a substance goes from a high concentrated area, down a concentration gradient, through a semi-permeable membrane, to a lower concentrated area.
