A form of periodic motion in which;
The acceleration of the particle is always proportional to the distance from the equilibrium point and directed towards that point.

State Hooke’s Law.
A
Hooke’s Law states that whenever an object is stretched, bent or compressed, there is a restoring force that is proportional to the distance from the equilibrium point, as long as the elastic limit is not exceeded.
