Q

Q
What causes Anterior Shoulder Dislocation?
A
Often due to abduction and ext rotation position (apprehension position
Humerus head displaces antero-inferiorly
Can result in Hills-Sachs lesion or Bankart lesion
Concurrent RCinjuries can happen
Vascular/neural structures at risk
3
Q
What causes posterior shoulder dislocation?
A
Blow to front of the shoulder
Can occur during seizures
Easily overlooked on AP X-ray
Concurrent injuries to RC (subscap) and post labrum
