Nodular hypertrophy, contracture of superficial palmar fascia
Loss of function of MCP,PIP due to contracture
Slowly occurs
Progressive over several years
Thickening of skin starts
Bands of fibrotic tissue occur in palm
Affected fingers pulled into flexion
Typically occurs bilaterally
