A

The 5Ps of a Sexual History
A
- Partners: “Are you currently sexually active? Who are your sexual partners?”
- Practices: “What kinds of sex are you having? What parts of your body and your partners body are involved in sex?”
- Past Hx of STIs: “STIs are common. Have you ever had one?”
- Protection from STIs: “What do you do to protect yourself from STIs and HIV?”
- Pregnancy Plans: “Do you have any plans to become pregnant in the next year?”

- Gonorrhea and Chlamydia infections can happen in throat or rectum
- can be missed in urine test
