A

*Technological progress might reduce human employment
*Many service jobs could be automated
*Technological progress could be capable of decoupling ever-growing consumption and large-scale human employment (just as it did earlier with equine employment)

A

*People (unlike horses) can prevent themselves from becoming economically irrelevant
*The biggest barrier to fully automated economy is the fact that ppl don’t want to be served and interact exclusively with robots and AI
*Humans desire interactions with each other as we are a very social species
*Technological progress still is not on the tract to replace humans with robots and AI within the next years
*Humans have physical advantage over technology
–energy efficiency, multidimensional feedback allowing precise movement and control
*Humans have a mental advantage over technology –common sense, formulation of goals, and creativity
