What are prodromes?
A
The day before the migraine.
- Mood disorder
- fatigue
- nausea and vomiting
- changes in fluid balance
- photophobia or phonophobia

What is aura?
A
Generally occurs 20 to 40 minutes before headache.
- Movement of stationary objects
- flashing lights
- brightness in the peripheral field
- “scintillating” scotoma
- numbness or paresthesias
- aphasia, speech difficulties
