A

It tells who or what the sentence is about. For example: God called to Adam. God is the subject.

What is the predicate of a sentence?

A

It is what is being said about the subject. A predicate will always contain a verb. For example, Adam ate the fruit. “Ate the fruit” is the predicate.

A

A compound predicate tells us 2 or more things about the same subject. There is only one subject in a compound predicate.
