Inner ear muscle contracts, dampens noise. Not instantaneous.

Perception changes. If image is upside down, after awhile it will look normal

Sight
A
Down and up regulation. Down=bright outside so eye pupil constricts–>less light enters eyes. Cones and rods desensitize.
Up=dark, pupils dilate.
