What is an unstructured interview
Conducted like a conversation rather than questions, only topic is decided in advance.
What is a semi structured interview
Mostly prepared questions, additional ones made by interviewer at time, can deviate from questions.
Strengths of structured
Easy to replicate, analyse and makes reliable data
Strengths of unstructured
Allows rapport, makes valid data
What is social desirability bias
Not being truthful to put yourself in a better light.
