A
    1. Determine the incident location and particulars by speaking with on-duty building employees and by referring to the fire annunciator panel where available.
  1. Access the security key-box, taking needed keys and leaving other keys with a trustworthy person, i.e. apparatus operator.
  2. Establish a Lobby Sector.
  3. Deliver an initial message to tenants/occupants, where lobby voice controls are available.
  4. Secure elevators to the ground floor, where controls are available.
  5. Assign an elevator operator, who may double as the Entry Control Person (ECP) during initial operations.
  6. Bring a high-rise kit for potential operations.
  7. Where fire is suspected, the driver closest to the standpipe/sprinkler connections should connect dry lines from the apparatus to these connections. Then await direction from the Incident Commander (IC) to charge the lines.
