Who were the beaker people
The beaker people were the first settlers after the Neolithic period
How do we know that the beaker people used metal
We know this because of the tools that been found
How did they make bronze
They make a fire near a fire with copper in it
They then pour cod water on it to make it crack
Then they collect the the copper and smelt it
They then mix it with tin and pour it into the moulds

They used the same method ad the Neolithic people but instead they used metal tools and the also used horses

They ate the same things as the Neolithic people

They cooked by making a pit by a river filling it with wood and river water.beside the pit the lit a fire and put rocks in the fire.they the. Put it into the water making them boil
What types of houses did they have
They used the wattle and daub method but they only had one room it’s a fire because the huts were surrounded by walls for protection
What did the Bronze Age people bury their dead in
They buried their dead in cist graves and wedge tombs
What is a cist
A cist is a pit in the ground lined with stone slabs
What are wedge tombs
Wedge tombs are built with large flat stones,the front of the tomb is bigger that the back
What are stone circles
They are tall upright stones aligned in rows or circles
