A
a woman that has had menstrual cycles that has now stopped. three consecutive cycles without any menses. real consideration should be given if 6 months without menses has occurred.

A
1) pregnancy.
2) hypothyroidism (look to TSH, will be elevated)
3) prolactin disorders (prolactinema/oma) prolactin level.
4) medications
5) hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian axis
