What age range does the National Breast Cancer screening programme currently from?
Aged 50 - 70 (however currently is a trial extending it to 47 - 73)
Above age 70, women can self-refer if they wish to have ongoing screening
= a mammogram every 3 years
What is the NICE recommended positive predictive value for those referred to the 2WW suspected cancer pathway (ie what per centage of referred patients should have cancer)?

When can a woman resume her cervical screening tests after pregnancy?
From 3 months / 12 weeks postpartum
What is the concept of lead time bias?
Lead time bias is the false impression that early detection of disease through screening leads to prolonged survival. They don’t actually live longer but because it was detected earlier it can have the tendency to give this impression
What percentage of people with prostate cancer will have a normal PSA?
About 15% of prostate cancer cases have a normal PSA
