What is excretion?
A
It is the removal of waste that is made in the body.

What do each excrete?
A
Skin - sweat(water, urea, salt)
Lungs - water and CO2
Kidneys - urine, urea, water, salts

What is the function of the kidneys?
A
To filter blood and remove urea and salts and to remove water if the blood is too diluted.

What is urea?
A
It is a toxic substance and is made in the liver from excess protein.

What is the function of sweating?
A
Sweating cools us down my taking heat from the skin to evaporate.
