Muscular system
Protects tissues, regulates body temperature, supports sensory receptors; skin, hair, nails, sweat glands ect.
Integumentary system
Controls metabolic activities of body structures; glands that secrete hormones
Endocrine system
Move blood through blood vessels and transport substances throughout the body; heart, arteries, capillaries, veins
Cardiovascular system
Return tissue fluid to the blood, carry certain absorbed food molecules, defend the body against infection
Lymphatic system
Receive, break down, and absorb food; eliminate unabsorbed material
Digestive system
Intake and output of air; exchange of gasses between air and blood
Respiratory
Remove wastes from blood, maintain water and electrolyte balance, store and transport urine
Urinary system
Produce and maintain egg/sperm cells and supports development
Reproductive system
Receives and sends signals to other organs through the nervous system and through hormones. Responsible for thoughts, feelings, memory forgave and general perception
