  1. Thougth process disorder - inability to concentrate/ having disorganised speech
  2. Disturbance of affect - showin wrong emotions
  3. Psychomotor disturbance - slowing or reduction in physical movement
  4. Apethetic - showing no feelings or interest
  5. Lack of avolition - total lack of motivation

How does ICD-10 diagnose schizophrenia

A
  • Requires symptoms to be present for a minimum of 1 month
  • If theres evidence of extensive depression, diagnosis is not possible.
  • If dealing woth nagative symptoms 2 have to be present
