Type 2 diabetes, as an adjunct to:
metformin and/or a sulfonylurea, or a thiazolidinedione
basal insulin, with or without metformin

A
Adult, 5 mg once daily.

vomiting
Common (>1%)
hypoglycaemia (mainly when used with a sulfonylurea), headache, musculoskeletal pain

Counselling
A
- This medicine can be taken with or without food.
- Combination with metformin: take with or after food to reduce stomach upset.
