Well tolerated
- diarrhoea
nausea
rash
urticaria
ALLERGY occurs in 10% of ppl – cross-reactivity between penicillins, cephalosporins, and carbapenems

- Continue taking until all finished (unless advised otherwise)

- Rash
- Allergies
- Complete blood count, renal and hepatic function during prolonged high-dose treatment (>10 days)
