It is DS responsibility to secure it, preferably in the evidence locker and to record such in the drug control log book
Whose responsibility is it to fill out the drug control log book when central drug depository personnel make a pickup?
DS
What happens if there is discrepancy discovered for controlled substances?
DS immediately notify district commander, central drug depository commander, drug control division commander and iad commander. Write a 26
How often are court drug safe combos changed?
yearly
only supervisor of cases and his designee should have combo
Does the central drug depository deliver to federal court?
yes but they need 24 hrs notice
What does an officer do if his drug evidence is needed for a more than one day trial?
bring to station house of district where the court is located and give to DS. Form 26 to drug depository commander.
Likewise, if Supervisor of Cases has drugs at the end of the day, same procedure
THE DRUG DEPOSITORY personnel will pick up the drugs and bring back to court
If drugs are stored in the district drug locker for the district that the court is in, because an officer needs them the next day for court, who brings them to court the next day?

Can the court hold drug evidence?
yes but officer needs to write a form 26 to the central drug depository commander via fax immediately and then submitted through the supervisor of cases
Does an officer need to do anything if the court breaks the seal on drug evidence?
Document in a form 26 to central drug depository commander
What is the procedure for drugs at the conclusion of a trial?
Officer request thru prosecuting attorney an order for destruction. that will be submitted with 1.1 through the supervisor of cases to be forwarded to central drug depository
