Sent to BPS
Time frames after a 5 day or less suspension
24 hr after notice must be given a written copy
Have 48 to request a hearing via writing
Hearing must be given within 5 days

That which is accepted by the emoloyee
Hours for punishment duty?
No more than 7 consecutive hrs
14 hrs in in 4 days
21 hrs inn7 days
Unless employee gives written consent

Where can I hearing be held?
As determined by the commissioner,
Hearing can be before commissioner, trial board or hearing officer
When does notice of a hearing need to be served ?
3 days before except if it’s the abolition of the position then it is 7 days
When does a report need to be completed after a hearing?
Forthwith
