Sensation: pain in lateral shoulder, sensory loss over deltoid
Motor deficit: Weakness of deltoid, suprespinatus, biceps
Relfexes: impairment of biceps reflex
C6
Sensation: radial side of the arm to thumb
Motor: Weakness of biceps and brachioradialis
Reflexes: Impairment or loss of biceps reflex
C7
Sensation: Between second and fourth finger
Motor: Triceps, wrist extensors and flexors, pectoralis major muscles
Reflexes: Impairment of loss of triceps reflex
L3
Sensation: often none, sometimes medial thigh and knee
Motor: quads, adductor may be affected
Reflexes: loss of knee jerk, loss or impaired adductor reflex
L4
Sensation: medial leg below knee to medial malleolus
Motor: Quads and anterior tibial muscles
Reflexes: decreased knee jerk
L5
Sensation: dorsum of foot to great toe
Motor: extensor hallicus longus, extensor digitorum longus, inversion and eversion of foot
S1
Sensation: Lateral border of the foot
Motor: Plantar flexion, toe flexion
Reflexes: decreased or absent ankle jerk
