A Disease in children associated with a deficiency in Vitamin D.

What can cause a Vitamin D deficiency in children ?
A
Lack of intake/ sunlight
Renal osteodystrophy
malabsorption of Vitamin D.

What are the imaging appearances of Rickets ?
A
Widening of the metaphysis relative to the diaphysis.
Cupping affect of the metaphysis.
Background demineralisation and soft tissue swelling.
Load affect on the long bones causing deformity.
