Q

treatment during pregnancy

A

intrauterine foetal blood transfusion: blood is transfused through the umbilical
cord

intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG): It reduces red blood cell destruction, so the
level of bilirubin in the baby’s blood will stop risin

A

Kernicterus

17
Q

what is Kernicterus

A

excessive buildup bilirubin
-> hearing loss, blindness, brain damage, death

18
Q

outlook rh disease

A

prevent it by getting RhoGAM injection after potential exposure RH positive blood

keep monitoring and stuff
