A

Selected hand picking of single vineyards in Berg Roseneck, Klosterlay and Bischofsberg. Fermentation in 1250L stainless steel tanks and after 2 month in Stainless steel racking into 1200 liter wooden barrels for 4 month. The wine stays up to 1 day before bottling on the fine lees, after one filtration bottling on the May 6, 2015. The philosophy in the cellar is to do nothing and let the natural fruit doing the wine. “Hands on in the vineyards, hands off in the cellar”

2014: Ehrhard: Rüdesheimer, Berg Rottland, Riesling Trocken, “Rottland”

A

Hand harvested; undergoes 12 hours of maceration and then pressed, fermentation with natural yeasts
in 1200L wooden barrels for three months until the end of January. Allowed to rest for seven months on
lees with one filtration at the beginning of August, then bottling. No fining, preferred to have the wine
exactly as given from the vineyard. All single vineyards are done in one barrel of 1200L size, making only
1700 bottles.
