2013: Rauen: Mosel, Riesling Spatlese Halbtrocken, “Grauschiefer”
From 45 year old vines planted on steep Devonian slate slopes; hand-harvested in mid-October. The grapes are gently crushed and macerated for four-six hours, followed by a slow spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel for two months with two months on lees. RS: 14 g/L TA: 7.6 g/L

From 47 year old vines planted on steep Devonian slate slopes; hand-harvested in mid-October. The grapes are gently crushed and macerated for four-six hours, followed by a slow spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel for two months with three months on lees to give this wine fuller body. RS: 15.4 g/L TA: 7.9 g/L
