Bronchial and intercostal arteries

What are the tracheal rings made of?

What bronchi is shorter, wider and more vertical? Why does this cause a problem?
Right - aspirated objects tend to get lodged here

Superior left bronchial artery
Inferior left bronchial artery

Right
