What are the two LTRA?

Montelukast and zafirlukast.

How do LTRA work?
A
They block the effects of cysteinyl leukotrienes in the airways. They are effective in asthma or when used alone or with an inhaled corticosteroid.

The LTRA may of benefit in exercise-induced asthma and in those with concomitant rhinitis, but they are less effective in what?

those with severe asthma who are also receiving high doses of other drugs.
