how to take a quick assessment of 02 status?
- Skin & mucus membrane - Color, dryness, cyanosis of mucous membrane - LOC = lethargic, ect - Adequacy of systemic circulation. Pulses, capillary refill, cyanosis - Clubbed nails (long term hypoxia) - Chest wall movement, breath sounds - Tachypnea, bradypnea, apnea (no breathing) - Pursed lip breathing (breathing deep in w/ nose and out with lips pursed)
