• before asssesing trachea advise patient what you are doing and that it might be uncomfortable
  -Check if tracheal deviation, use middle finger in middle and other two beside
  -tracheal trug (inferior movement during inspirations) use pointer and middle
  -palpate cervical lymph nodes best done from behind
• palpate submental lymph nodes
• palpate sub mandibular lymph nodes
  -palpate pre and post auricular lymph nodes
• palpate occipital lymph nodes
  -palpate anterior and posterior cervical chains
• palpate superclavicualr lymph nodes biliaterally
