Quantitative Research

Qualitative Research
Focuses on the “ how and why of behavior.” It involves non-numerical descriptions (verbal or pictorial) of participants’ subjective understanding, feelings, or beliefs about their experiences.
Sampling
Acquiring specific number of people from the populations as participants or respondents.
Random Selection
Each person in the population has an equal and independent chance of being chosen.

Self- reports
Observations of the participants in a laboratory or natural setting
