What is an incomplete miscarriage ?
- placenta has been passed vaginally but some other tissues remain within endometrial cavity
1) Histologically look for blood clot, placental tissue, fetal products of conception
what is a molar pregnancy
A molar pregnancy is when there’s a problem with a fertilised egg, which means a baby and a placenta do not develop the way they should after conception. A molar pregnancy will not be able to survive.

patient doesn’t want children ( so gets sterilised ) => female sterilisation means removing the Fallopian tube
- Check for cancers

Pelvic inflammatory disease is an infection of the upper genital tract, including the womb, ovaries and connecting tubes.

what are fibroids ?
1) fibroids = benign smooth muscle tumours = cause infertility
what is endometriosis ?

- walls of uterus = adenomyosis
