  • Combination to reduce negative sideffects of unoposed estrogen
  • Also progeterone increases thickness of cervical mucus and inhibits sperm. Also prevents endometrial growth and impairs embryo implantation
  • Contraindicated in smokers 35+, ER positive breast cancer, history of DVT.
