Relapse is a setback in the behavior change process by reverting to target behavior. A lapse can be sudden and influenced by environmental context

If don’t cope our efficacy goes down and we have positive expectations about using > use drug < AVE + perceived effects of substance > increase R likely.

Examine high-risk situations and personal responses to them and develop coping skills. Also, stress level and rationalization. Past lapses and questionnaires to ax self-efficacy.
