The association regulates RNs and NPs in NB to ensure the provision of safe, competent and ethical care in the interest of the public
Nurses Act
under the act, NANB is legally responsible to protect the public by regulating members of the nursing profession in NB care

Promotion of good practice, prevention poor practice and intervention when practice is Unacceptable
Promotion of Goof Practice

Preventing Poor Practice
Annual Registration Renewal, Minimum hours of Practice, continuing competence program, proof of good character, nurse refresher program, standards/ guidelines/ position statement, practice consultations, presentations and member engagement

The RN contributes to and promotes measures that optimize positive client health outcomes at the individual, organizational and system level
Professional Relationship and Leadership
the RN establishes professional relationships and demonstrates leadership to deliver quality nursing and health care services
