Galant reflex is stimulated by placing the infant on the stomach or lightly supporting him or her under the abdomen with a hand and, using a fingernail, gently stroking one side of the neonate’s spinal column from the head to the buttocks. The response occurs with the neonate’s trunk curving toward the stimulated side.
Landau
Hold infant prone, support abdo, lift head and extend neck and trunk (if head is flexed, hip, knees and elbows also flex)
Present: 3 mo post birth
Disappear: 12mo-2yr
Neck righting
*supine, turn head and rest of body will turn to that side
Present: 6 mo

Parachute
suspend and lower quick towards table, arms will extend forward
Gain at 6-9 months and never lose it
Crossed extension
Disappears 0-4 mo
passively extend one leg and press knee to table; prick sole of that foot with pin and other leg will slightly extend and adduct
