Why do we assess Deep Tendon Reflexes?
evaluate lower motor neurons/fibers at specific levels of the body
Where is the bicep tendon located
on the anterior side of the arm in the bend of the elbow
Where is the tricep tendon located?
on the posterior side of the arm just above the elbow
where is the brachioradialis tendon located?
on the radial side of the anterior forearm 2-3 inches above the thumb
where is the patellar tendon located?
just below the knee cap
where is the achilles tendon located?
the back of the ankle
