What was Chamberlain’s policy towards Germany?
The policy of appeasement meant letting Hitler have what he wanted (the Sudetenland) which was stalling the Germans so that the British could rearm.

Chamberlain was eager to ensure peace with Nazi Germany and at all costs to avoid destruction and another war.

The areas surrounding Danzig was known as the Polish corridor which use to belong to Germany. It acted as a buffering zone between Germany and the sea.
