How were the Jews most influential in Weimar Society?

How did the persecution of Jews begin under the Nazis?
Persecution began immediately after the Nazis came to power, with a month long campaign of harassment and assault by the SA on Jewish shops, businesses and synagogues.

What happened during Kristallnacht?
The SA destroyed the properties and shops of German Jews. Buildings were burnt to the ground and many Jewish civilians were severely beaten or killed.
Who else other than the Jewish minority groups did the Nazis target?
Homosexuals, the disabled, gypsies, Slavs, communists were also targeted as part of the Nazis racial cleansing policies.
Why did the issue of race and discrimination reappear in the FGR?
When the Economic miracle slowed down, guest workers were more cheaper making them more favourable so German nationalism re-emerged and that felt foreign workers should return home.
What was the ‘Law to Advance the Willingness to Return Home’?
It offered 10,500 Deutschemarks to any guest worker willing to return home, with additional financial incentives of further ‘repatriation help’ offered if their wives and children left too.

Many guest workers chose to stay and the issue of unemployment and foreign immigrants.

It was to initially remove Jews from the social life of Germans, before moving to deportation and execution.
What was the compulsory sterilisation programme?
Doctors and hospitals had to report those who were ‘unfit to breed’ and the Hereditary Health Court would decide who would be sterilised
Who were the main targets of the compulsory sterilisation programme?
Mainly Jewish women and any other ‘undesirables’. Many of these died due to the procedure.

Laws to exclude Jews from many areas of life. They included the star of David and even permitted kristallnacht.
What were the how did the segregation between the Jews and the Germans begin?
First by legal separation- Removing all Jews from jobs and public spaces.
Secondly, bans boycotts- imposed with escalating violence on Jews and their businesses
What was the purpose of the Ghettos?
To further dehumanise them by forcing them to live in overcrowded, and dirty conditions with low necessities. KDF trips to the ghettos reinforced this idea among Germans which would give Jews a permanent labels
