What is Ratio used for?
To compare two or more quantities.
What does the ratio of 2:1 mean

How to simplify ration with more than two quantities.
Find a number that divides into all numbers.
How to share in a given ratio?
Add the numbers of the ratio together
And then divide the total by the share to find out how much a part is worth.
Then multiply the part by the number of shares you want.
How to form one quantity of a fraction of another?
£4 is what fraction of £14
The numerator is the first quantity and the denominator is the second (cancel down if possible).

How to decrease or increase the ratio?
To decrease the smaller number comes first and to increase the larger number comes first.
How to find a share in a fraction?
Divide the quantity by the denominator to find the worth of one share then multiply it by the numerator.
How to find percentage as a quantity?
Convert the percentage into a fraction and the cancel down if possible.
