Q

How to find the equation of a line with just the gradient and the point on the line?

A

The gradient is given so the number will be x.
Multiply the gradient by the first number of the coordinate.

The difference between the answer and the second coordinate equals to c

Q

How to find the equation of the line when only given two points?

A

First find the gradient by finding the difference between x (the first digit in both points) and then y (the second digits in both points).

When found the difference divide y by x. This will give you your gradient.

To find c you must multiply the gradient by the first digit by either point given and the difference between the answer and the second digit of the point = c

Q

What happens if two quantities are in direct proportion?

A

They increase at the same rate so if on doubles the other does.
