Managers allow other to take part in decision making

+ useful input from subordinates, higher motivation, good public image
- slow decision making, workers may lack knowledge or not want to be involved, some decisions need to be kept from workers
What is Laissezs Faire leadership
Let workers get on with tasks, limited guidance, hands off approach
Pros/cons of Laissez Faire leadership
+ Works well with skilled staff, gives workers freedom and motivation, more innovation encouraged
- workers may lack experience, lack motivation, deadlines may be missed, nobody pushing them
