origonal setlers to the usa were called WASPS (white anglo saxon protistants)
they introduced the protistant church, use of democracy and the english language.
they domonated us society and didnt want to see it changed by new imigrants

they claimed within a study of imigration that they carried out in 1907 that imigrants from souther and eastern europe were INFERIOR compared to WASPS
